Renata Carlet – Integrative Counsellor / Group Facilitator
I am a registered and experienced integrative counsellor.
I am experienced in working with clients of different ages, diverse cultures, learning abilities, and ethnical backgrounds facing numerous challenges.
Over the years, I have worked with clients who feel lonely, depressed, anxious, stressed, panicky, stuck, angry, lack self-esteem and who have no energy or desire to face daily tasks.
I have also worked with clients who find it difficult to deal with painful past experiences, bereavement, loss or relationship / family / work issues.
I offer therapy to adults on a one-to-one basis. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I follow their Ethical Code of Practice. I have full Public Liability and Professional indemnity insurance and a current enhanced DBS check (previously called CRB check). I have regular supervision and I continually update my professional development.
Having worked many years for Enfield Parents & Children (EPC) charity as a counsellor, trainer and parenting course facilitator and also for the Enfield Council delivering Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities parenting programmes (SFSC), allowed me to gain a wide experience of the issues that concern individuals. Apart from delivering SFSC parenting programmes and also Mellow Babies programmes at EPC, I have also developed my courses and workshops and have been delivering them at schools, organizations and children's centres to parents of primary school children and those on the autism spectrum.
I often work with parents who are required to do a parenting course in cases of access or custody following divorce or separation. I can provide written evidence of attendance if this is needed for court proceedings.
I specialize in working with individuals suffering from anxiety and panic attacks, depression, stress, relationship problems and parenting issues.
